Tease! Show the whole outfit! This is my kinda neutral =P And a stellar collection of bracelets, which look like Saturns rings xo
I've always said red was my fave neutral!
Sure! Ha...Blue is too right?
I agree with Emma: Do we get to see the whole outfit? ;)I love all of the colors! What a great bakelite collection!
pretty pretty pretty!!
loving the bangles and plaid dress!xx,Jeanine
So gorgeous - would love to see the whole outfit! Solanah, how do you identify bakelite from other plastics? Sarah xxx
I wish I could see the whole outfit because this snippit is just gorgeous. what's the point of neutrals anyways? they just fade into your skin.
Lovely picture! Love the bakelite.
Haha, red is a COLOUR, and yay for COLOURS!xx CharlotteTuppence Ha'penny Vintage
Those colours are gorgeous. Re Bakelite, didn't Charlotte (above) have a guide to it??Px

Wow! That is the most amazing plaid ever!
Oh, how cheerful and fun!
Of course red is a neutral! And let's face it, any outfit benefits from a touch of red. Well, maybe not any outfit at all, but you know what I mean! ; )
Yay for red! I, as you know, utterly adore red and think one can't ever wear it too much. ;) lol. Loving that plaid dress you're wearing (what I can see of it! ;)!♥ Casey | blog
As far as I'm concerned, plaid is a neutral! I saw the title of this post and knew I'd love it. Two of my absolute favorites, Bakelite and plaid. I might not be exaggerating if I were to say a good 1/3 to 1/2 of my blouses are plaid.
Pretty colors! And I love Bakelite bracelets!
Oh so pretty! :D
red is the most neutral colour there is ;) I love the thin green banglehttp://teapothonor.blogspot.com/
Oh, super combo. Love the bangles, bakelite is the best...Makes me wish for summer..../Olivia
God! Your outfits are always so cute, even when we can't see the whole thing!!
The green one is gorgeous!
Ooh love love the fabric on this outfit, I need to see more! :)
Perfection!! The plaid, the bracelets, the color of the sweater!! Drool.....like I always do when looking @ your blog!
Do you pay an arm and a leg for bakelite? THis woman was selling vintage bakelite jewelry for HUNDREDS of dollars a peice, and I had to laugh! Please tell me she was just being greedy!
Crickey, there's a vixen vintage and a vintage vixen. I've been getting very confused...and probably confusing others by misappropriating comments. All sorted now though.
Misfits vintage, I identify it by rubbing it with my thumb a few seconds and sniffing it. If it smells like formaldehyde, it's bakelite!Nikita, thank you so much!Anonymous, actually, one of the reasons I love bakelite is the thrill of the hunt! My most "expensive" bangle is the red one, I got it for $20, and the green one was $15, the rest were all under 50 cents! I have luck finding them at garage sales and such :) But yes, they are worth crazy prices!Ms Wanda, hehe yes, it's like there's two of us!
that grey cardigan is a good neutral - no?
I would say never neutral but always a sensation :)xoxo,meelushap.s. since you love vintage, don't forget to join the cool vintage giveaway on my blog (60s silk scarf by daniel la foret-paris)http://meelusha.blogspot.com/2011/01/join-my-1st-giveaway.html
What an incredibly fun outfit! That picture is cropped beautifully, I love it.
Feast for the eyes on this cold Winter snowy day.
