1930s pattern

Here is my 1930s dress pattern, of course un-marked. I was trying to do repairs on my machine tonight and couldn't get it working right, so me making something soon is unlikely. But I'll work on it, and eventually it will purr.

such a cute pattern. :) that dress is adorable.

Also, I have 2 machines and a serger, if you ever need to borrow one.

So, so cute! This reminds me why I adore mid-to-late 30s patterns and have been hunting high and low for an affordable and cute on on Ebay lately: the details! That neckline shirring/gathering is so sweet. Out of curiosity: is it made by a casing or just shirred to create the gathers below the neckline? I'm rather curious...

Best of luck getting your machine up and running again--can't wait to see your version of this! :)

It's something to do with the bobbin, I may get a manual on ebay, that could help me figure it out.

Great pattern! I've been drawn to 1930's patterns lately, too. Something about their simplicity and very feminine details. That bodice is great! Good luck :) Can't wait to see the finished product!
